In 2016 we began the R22 replacement project on site in partnership with JD O’Brien Mechanical services.

Garrett Morgan had worked on the initial installation of the existing systems nearly 20 years ago and we were happy to be there to replace the systems with new models, improved technology and more efficient units that MSL can enjoy long into the future. The existing R22 systems were decommissioned, the gas was removed for destruction in accordance with current legislation and the units were removed from site. As the refit spanned 3 and a half years, the technology and equipment available at the time of installation changed.

The first garage was fitted with 8 Hitachi R410a systems and the last garage was fitted with 7 Mitsubishi Electric R32 units. In total over 40 units were replaced providing over 350kw of heating and cooling across the property.
